El Destino del Hombre depende del Destino del Mar.

Estoy trabajando en el proyecto de construir en Chile, el primer Mega Acuario de propiedad privada pero abierto al público del País y de América del Sur, con un Centro de Investigación Marina, en conjunto con la empresa de USA International Concept Management Inc, que es la de mayor experiencia en el mundo en el diseño, construcción, puesta en marcha y operación técnica y comercial de Acuarios.  El Proyecto se ha diseñado bajo el exitoso modelo de negocios del famoso Monterey Bay Aquarium de USA, de última generación denominado de Edu/Entretención/Ambiental.

A raíz de dicho Proyecto, he podido comprobar la extraordinaria importancia de los Océanos en la vida del hombre. En el mundo, existe cada vez más consciencia de ello. En Octubre de 2015, Chile será sede de la segunda Conferencia mundial Our Ocean, patrocinada por el Gobierno de USA y la FAO.         

Cientos de exitosas empresas mundiales como Unilever, manifiestan su interés y realizan acciones concretas respaldando la pesca sustentable. En Chile Aquachile certifica a su Salmón Verlasso como Salmón de producción Sustentable en el Monterey Bay Aquarium y logra abrir mercado a los 50 Estados de USA. Por primera vez en Chile, las organizaciones de las empresas de Pesca se unen formando una Organización para atacar en conjunto los problemas de la industria y en especial la sustentabilidad de los recursos.

En los Océanos se manifiestan con especial gravedad los efectos ambientales, pero, en forma oculta al hombre y a la opinión pública, por ello, la importancia de un Acuario que muestre esta importante realidad a los chilenos, así como las maravillas del mundo marino.

El muy reconocido Profesor Callum Roberts de la U. de York, con quien mantengo contacto, ha identificado 7 medidas para mejorar la explotación de los Océanos y con ello, proteger al Hombre, comenzando con la creación de Áreas Marinas Protegidas. Chile, por su profunda, histórica, geográfica, económica, cultural y ecológica vinculación  con el Mar, debe ser un protagonista importante a nivel mundial en la materia.

The Fate of the Man depends on the Fate of the Sea. I am working en the Project to develop in Chile, of the first private Mega Aquarium open to the public en the country and in South America, with the USA company International Concept Management Inc, that it is the most experienced worlds company in design, construction, starting and technical and commercial operation  of Aquariums.  The Project has been designed based on the successfully and ultimate generation business model of the Monterey Bay Aquarium from USA, named Edu/Entertaiment/Environment.

Due to this Project, I had valued the extraordinary importance of the Oceans in man’s life. In the world, there is more and more awareness of this. In October 2015, Chile will be the venue of the world Our Ocean Conference, sponsored by the USA Government and FAO.

Hundred of successfully world companies such as Unilever, they spread their interest and take actions supporting  sustainable fisheries. In Chile Aquachile had certified their Verlasso Salmon as sustainable salmon in the Monterey Bay Aquarium and could open the market to 50 states in the USA. For the first time in Chile, fisheries organizations  jointly had crated un Organization to work together the problems of the fishery industry and specially the sustainability of the industry.

In the Oceans the environment effects they occurred with special severity, but, hidden to the man and to the mass media, that’s why it is so important an Aquarium to show this important reality to the Chilean, the same as the wonders of the marine world.  

The very well respected U. of York’s Professor  Callum Roberts, with whom I have contact with, has identified 7 reforms to improve the Fishery Management, and to protect the Man, beginning with the creation of Marine Reserves. Chile, due it’s deep, historical, geographical, economic, cultural and ecological relation with the Sea, it has to be a important actor in the matter.
